Job Summary
The UX/UI Designer is the bridge between users and the digital products they interact with. Conducts research to understand user needs, then translate that knowledge into intuitive and user-friendly designs. This will involve creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize your ideas, including the creation and maintenance of style guides used by development teams. Works closely with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are not only appealing but also feasible and aligned with business goals.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Produce high quality user interfaces and visually appealing designs from conception to completion. Transform complex requirements into intuitive and usable flows for our user experience.
- Analyze options and provide recommendations for design decisions that effectively gain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Develops creative solutions and produces UI/UX deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, user flows, low and high-fidelity mock-ups, sitemaps, style guides, etc.) to solve usability concerns that reduce overall costs for supporting applications.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of user needs and goals. You will act as the primary user-advocate during the conception, into the design process and throughout development, subjecting early-stage prototypes to user testing or expert review by internal stake holders.
- Provide support in UI/UX Design and Development across multiple teams.
- Employ proven UX research methods for data driven design decisions and utilize data analytics to measure outcomes.
- Drive design process in a collaborative manner with cross-functional teams spanning multiple products. Being organized and forward thinking beyond what is initially requested; your ability to multi-task between multiple projects, products and teams with competing priorities will be key.
- Communicate and articulate design decisions effectively to gain buy-ins from stakeholders.

- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 4-6 years of prior relevant experience.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Figma and wireframe prototyping tools
- HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript Frameworks (Angular)
- Fluent in WCAG compliance and ADA design standards
- Understanding and adherence to support Section 508, AA level compliance ratings for all products along with assurance of ADA compatibility for both digital and print materials
- Proficiency in Adobe CC and Adobe XD, DevOps, Agile or SEO a plus
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in UX/UI design work for web-based applications
- Experience working with and contributing to a Design System
- Experience conducting user research/user testing
