Xylem is now looking for a UX/UI Designer Summer Intern to join our team in Stockholm.
This summer internship gives you the opportunity to work on our web-based and Human-Machine Interface platforms for monitoring and controlling pump stations. You will support ongoing design work and help improve the user experience of a real-world industrial system.
We are looking for students who want to build their skills alongside their studies. As a UX/UI summer intern at Xylem, you will gain experience working in a global company and learn how design is applied in complex, data-driven systems.
Xylem is a leading global water technology company dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues. At our office in Sundbyberg, you will work closely with designers, developers, and product teams.
This is a full-time summer position based in Stockholm during June–August. Fluency in English is required.
Your role
You will be part of the Product/Design team, working closely with a UX/UI Designer and developers in a collaborative environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- · Creating wireframes and UI designs
- · Supporting improvements of existing user flows
- · Working with dashboards and data-driven interfaces
- · Assisting with usability evaluations
- · Contributing to our design system
You will work on real tasks that impact the product and users.
Who we are looking for
- · You are at least 18 years old
- · You can work 4–8 weeks during June–August
- · You are studying UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
- · You are curious and eager to learn
- · You have an interest in usability and digital product design
- · You are structured and pay attention to detail
- · You are comfortable working in a team and sharing ideas
