Position Summary
ECS is seeking a UX/UI Designer - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program by designing user-centered interfaces for enterprise applications. The selected candidate will play a critical role in enhancing user experience by conducting comprehensive usability analyses and developing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. This position is integral to ensuring that all interfaces adhere to Government design standards and meet user experience requirements, thereby contributing to the overall mission success of the ARNG ENOCS program.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement user-centered interfaces for enterprise applications.
- Conduct usability analysis to enhance user experience and interface design.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for modern web and enterprise application platforms.
- Ensure interface designs comply with Government accessibility standards and usability best practices.
- Collaborate with software development teams to translate functional requirements into intuitive designs.
- Apply performance considerations to interface designs to meet mission needs.
- Oversee the integration of enterprise design governance requirements into application interfaces.
- Lead efforts to improve workflow efficiency through enhanced interface usability.
- Ensure all designs support the specific mission requirements of the ARNG ENOCS program.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Intermediate proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): CND, GFACT, GSEC, Security+
- Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in user experience and interface design within DoD or Federal IT environments
- Proven ability to design user-centered interfaces that enhance usability and accessibility
- Experience in developing wireframes and prototypes for enterprise applications
- Demonstrated collaboration with development teams to improve interface design and workflow efficiency
- Strong understanding of Government accessibility standards and usability best practices
