Bring your design expertise to a team where strategy meets execution
We’re hiring a Senior UX Designer and UX Designer to collaborate on delivering thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences.
As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll have oversight and responsibility for the overall design strategy and direction of AgExpert’s product suite.
As a UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on implementation and execution of the overall direction.
At AgExpert, we’re not just designing interfaces – we’re shaping the future of Canadian agriculture. We’re searching for UX Designers who are as comfortable sketching wireframes as they are out in a field, and who believe that great design starts with understanding the people who use our products. If you’ve ever thought, “This could be simpler, clearer, better,” and then made it happen – you’re our kind of designer.
Whether you’ve crafted digital experiences for ag tech, helped producers navigate complex workflows or simply have a knack for making the complicated feel effortless, we want to hear from you!
*Application requirement: A professional portfolio is essential for this role. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

What you’ll do:

  • Senior UX/UI Designer: Lead the strategic design direction and provide senior oversight of intuitive, accessible and visually engaging user experiences for AgExpert’s suite of products
  • UX/UI Designer: Execute and implement high-fidelity designs, prototypes and specifications based on the established design direction
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers and agriculture experts to turn big ideas into practical, user-centred solutions
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure our tools truly meet the needs of Canadian producers
  • Create and present wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that bring clarity and excitement to innovation
  • Advocate for the user at every stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring their voice is heard and their needs are met
  • Stay grounded in real-world agricultural challenges, keeping design practical and impactful

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for agriculture and a drive to make a difference through design
  • A creative problem-solver who thrives in an Agile, collaborative environment
  • A strong communicator who builds trust and partnerships across teams
  • An organized multi-tasker who can juggle priorities without losing sight of the big picture
  • A commitment to staying current with design trends and continuously improving

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction or a related field, and at least five years of experience designing digital products (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centred designs that solve real problems
  • Familiarity with agricultural workflows or a willingness to learn about the challenges producers face
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
  • UX certification is an asset
