About the Role

We are seeking a UX Researcher to join our team and play a critical role in shaping user-centered solutions. As a UX Researcher, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers (PMs) and Engineers to identify the right problems to solve, evaluate solution options, and measure the usability of delivered products. You’ll apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover user insights that directly inform product strategy and design decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Work with PMs and Engineers to define research questions that inform product decisions and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Design and execute research studies, including 1:1 interviews, heuristic evaluations, contextual inquiries, card sorting, and usability studies.
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights, presenting clear recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assess potential solutions through usability testing and other evaluative research methods, providing feedback to improve user experience.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to ensure research insights are integrated into product development processes.
  • Track user experience metrics post-launch and recommend iterative improvements based on data and feedback.
  • Document research processes, findings, and insights in accessible formats to inform future product iterations.
  • Champion user needs and perspectives throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that solutions align with user expectations and behaviors.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in UX research or a related role.
  • Proficiency in a range of research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and card sorting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including PMs, UX designers, and Engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with design and research tools such as Figma, Mural, Icon8, Optimal Workshop or similar.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust or other clearance as required


Preferred Skills

  • Experience conducting research in Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive research practices.
  • Experience with quantitative research and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in MAX Confluence and MAX Jira
  • Exposure to Salesforce, API management, data & governance, or AWS is a plus.
