About The Role
Join Mochi Health as a User Researcher and play a pivotal role in shaping intuitive, user-friendly experiences that make healthcare more accessible and effective. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure every decision is informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors. This position reports to the Head of Design and is perfect for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment, is passionate about user research, and enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze behavioral data using tools like Hotjar, PostHog, or similar platforms.
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods with the ability to choose the right approach for each project.
- Advocate for users and design experience that meet their needs while achieving business goals.
- Collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional environments and excel at aligning priorities with design, product, and engineering teams.

Who You Are
- 2+ years in UX research or a related role, with a proven track record of shaping product decisions through impactful insights.
- Skilled in behavioral analysis using tools like Hotjar, PostHog, and survey platforms, with bonus points for A/B testing and quantitative analysis.
- Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, choosing the right approach for each project.
- Passionate about crafting seamless, user-centric experiences that balance user needs with business objectives.
- Deep understanding of mobile interaction patterns and design principles to create intuitive, high-impact experiences.
- Able to design elegant solutions for complex workflows with a fresh aesthetic approach.
- Experienced in building scalable UI components while maintaining consistency.
- Proficient in Figma, Framer, and collaboration tools like Miro for high-fidelity design and prototyping.
- Works cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to align on priorities and drive meaningful outcomes.
- Comfortable presenting complex findings and design decisions in a clear, compelling way to stakeholders at all levels.
- Passionate about pixel-perfect execution and crafting experiences that drive engagement.
- Always exploring new research methods, tools, and design trends to push the boundaries of UX and product innovation.

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $130,000 to $130,000, in addition to equity and benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations.
