About The Role:
Join Mochi Health as a User Researcher and play a pivotal role in shaping intuitive, user-friendly experiences that make healthcare more accessible and effective. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure every decision is informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact the lives of patients by creating tools that are not only functional but also delightful to use.
This position reports to the Head of Design and is perfect for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment, is passionate about user research, and enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Data-Driven: You have strong skills in analyzing behavioral data using tools like Hotjar, PostHog, or similar platforms. Familiarity with survey tools, A/B testing, and quantitative analysis is a plus.
- Methodologically Diverse: You are well-versed in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to choose the right approach for each project.
- User Advocate: You’re passionate about advocating for users and designing experiences that meet their needs while achieving business goals.
- Collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional environments and excel at aligning priorities with design, product, and engineering teams.
- Strategic Thinker: You can connect research insights to broader business objectives and influence product strategy.

Who You Are:
- Experienced: You have 2+ years of experience in UX research or a related role, with a proven track record of influencing product decisions through impactful research.
- Data-Driven: Strong skills in analyzing behavioral data using tools like Hotjar, PostHog, or similar platforms. Experience with survey tools, A/B testing, and quantitative analysis is a plus.
- Methodologically Diverse: Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to determine the right approach for each project.

Requirements
- Familiarity with basic data analysis for deeper insights.
- Background in usability testing for mobile-first and web applications.
- Experience working with design systems and collaboration tools like Figma or Miro

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000-$130,000 annually, in addition to equity and benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors, such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.
