We are seeking a passionate and experienced UX Researcher to join our team. As a UX Researcher at RVO Health, you will play a pivotal role in understanding our users, their needs, and behaviors. Your insights will inform the design and development of user-centric healthcare solutions, ensuring that our products are intuitive, engaging, and effective.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, execute, and analyze user research studies to gain a deep understanding of user behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to integrate user insights into the product development process.
  • Conduct usability testing, surveys, interviews, and other research methods to gather user feedback and validate design decisions.
  • Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts to inform product strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the user experience and advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in UX research and healthcare technology.
  • Assist in the development of user-centered design guidelines and processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior UX researchers when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Researcher, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of user research methodologies, including usability testing, contextual inquiry, and surveys.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey research findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in UX research tools and software.
  • A passion for understanding user behavior and improving user experiences.
  • Experience with healthcare-related projects or products is a plus.

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $78,000 - $118,000
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
