TITLE: UX Program Manager

About the Role 

We are seeking a strategic and highly operational UX Program Manager to help scale experience delivery across our product ecosystem. 

This role will lead operational programs supporting Product Design, UX Research, and Design Systems teams by building scalable workflows, governance models, prioritization frameworks, and AI-enabled delivery practices. 

The ideal candidate combines systems thinking, operational leadership, UX fluency, and cross-functional program management expertise. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Accessibility, Research, and Design leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, design consistency, delivery velocity, and user experience quality at scale. 

Potential Locations: Boston MA, Columbia SC, Bolivar MO. 

 

What You’ll Do 

UX Platform & Program Leadership 

  • Lead cross-functional UX programs across Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Accessibility, and Platform teams  

  • Drive operational alignment, roadmap coordination, governance, and delivery planning across UX initiatives  

  • Improve visibility into priorities, dependencies, risks, and overall UX delivery health  

 

Design Systems & Backlog Operations 

  • Support Design Systems governance, adoption, release coordination, and component lifecycle management  

  • Oversee UX and Design System backlog prioritization, intake, and roadmap alignment  

  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to balance strategic initiatives, accessibility, technical debt, and delivery priorities  

 

AI-Enabled Workflow & Operational Excellence 

  • Identify and implement AI-assisted workflows, automation opportunities, and operational improvements across UX teams  

  • Establish scalable operational frameworks, quality standards, metrics, and reporting practices  

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery efficiency, collaboration, and experience consistency  

What You’ve Done 

Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, DesignOps, Product Operations, UX Operations, or Technical Program Management  

  • Experience supporting Product Design and/or Design Systems organizations  

  • Strong understanding of agile product development and cross-functional delivery models  

  • Experience managing complex programs across distributed teams and stakeholders  

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational leadership skills  

  • Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to improve operational scalability  

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working with enterprise-scale Design Systems  

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted workflow tooling and automation practices  

  • Experience with accessibility governance and UX quality standards  

  • Knowledge of Product Operations or platform delivery models  

  • Experience with operational analytics and delivery metrics  

  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Mural, Aha, or Linear  

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors 

  • Strong understanding of UX, Design Systems, and product development lifecycles  

  • Experience leading cross-functional programs across UX, Product, and Engineering teams  

  • Ability to manage and prioritize UX and Design System backlogs at scale  

  • Knowledge of DesignOps, ProductOps, and operational governance practices  

  • Experience improving workflow efficiency, delivery processes, and operational scalability  

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, automation, and intelligent operational tooling  

  • Strong systems-thinking and organizational problem-solving abilities  

  • Ability to establish operational frameworks, standards, and governance models  

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills  

  • Ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and competing priorities

Actual compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location, where permitted by law.

For reference, the expected salary range for this position is generally positioned as follows based on candidate location:

  • 135,900 - 194,200 Candidates living in the Boston, New York City–Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, or Washington, DC metropolitan areas
  • 129,500 - 185,000: Candidates living in Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Minneapolis, or Philadelphia metropolitan areas, or in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island, or Vermont
  • 123,100 – 175,900: Candidates living in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Oregon, or Wisconsin
  • 109.000 – 170,400: For all other U.S. locations

This position is also eligible for annual bonus compensation, subject to plan terms and individual eligibility.

Final compensation will be determined based on the factors outlined above and in accordance with applicable law.
