The Product Designer plays a pivotal role in aligning user experience with business goals through both strategy and execution for the MFT experience. This position goes beyond creating data-driven UI/UX design, it involves developing a cohesive UX strategy that drives business success. You'll craft strategic documents and roadmaps to build lasting UX excellence while working closely with cross-functional teams to blend user and business needs into an exceptional product. In this role, you'll make key decisions about design and features, balancing user needs with business objectives, and guide the entire design process from concept through development and launch.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Strategic Leadership and Execution:
    • Transform ambitious business goals into elegant, user-centered design solutions.
    • Envision and develop the UX architecture for our end-user platform, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment through clear frameworks and decisive leadership, ensuring seamless integration of design and
    • business strategies.
    • Oversee the design execution to deliver intuitive, high-quality product experiences across multiple products.
  • Design Systems and Principles:
    • Establish scalable design principles and patterns to support consistent and customizable experiences across multiple products.
    • Evolve our design system to ensure it meets the needs of diverse user experiences.
    • Mentorship and Development:
    • Mentor and coach other designers, fostering skill development and driving design excellence across teams.
    • Lead the team in using user-centered processes like Design Thinking to address user pain points, define problems, and develop
  • User-Centric Focus and Continuous Improvement:
    • Plan, define, and conduct design research to understand user needs and pain points, collaborating with UX Researchers to
    • conduct user tests and measure UX product scores.
    • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to create information architecture, user flows, journey maps, mockups,
    • and interactive prototypes.
    • Facilitate design reviews and workshops, ensuring cohesive and intuitive product experiences.
    • Help prioritize the backlog by suggesting UX improvements in collaboration with product teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of proven experience in delivering enterprise solutions through UX design and UI interfaces, supported by a strong portfolio
  • showcasing systems thinking and high-craft execution.
  • Proven experience in scaling design practices across teams and projects.
  • Deep expertise in both information architecture and visual design, enabling the delivery of cohesive and user-friendly experiences.
  • Proven leadership around the implementation of user experience processes and best practices, with a track record of successful
  • stakeholder management and team alignment.
  • Ability to establish frameworks that empower team autonomy while maintaining cohesive design standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate the craft of designers, fostering skill development and driving design excellence.
  • Proven analytical skills to translate complex concepts into accessible, actionable insights.
  • Expert-level proficiency in design software, including Figma.
  • Experience with user experience testing tools like Lyssna, SurveyMonkey, or UsabilityHub
