Role Description

- Sustainability Technology is at the heart of this investment. As an UX Designer you will lead our efforts in creating UX and UI designs that balance form and function while keeping client and end-user needs in mind to create best-in-class user experiences.
- This will include close collaboration with the Autobahn UX team who provide design oversight of the common brand and user-experience for institutional and corporate clients, hosting >1,000 (200+ external) applications including several Sustainability Technology Products. You will ensure intuitive and accessible UX design across our suite of data analysis and dashboarding products, as well as our work-flow based operational applications supporting key Sustainability processes.

Your key responsibilities
- Leading the UX capability within Sustainability Technology.
- Collaborating closely with the Autobahn UX team to ensure best-practice UX across all Autobahn apps within Sustainability Technology. Including adhering, and contributing, to the Autobahn Design Pattern Library components and standards to help evolve the design language further, knowing how the Agile methodology is applied across the entire UX and development process.
- Providing UX thought-leadership, coaching, mentorship, and guidance within the team and across the business whilst investigating user experience design requirements, with a user-centred approach based upon customer insights.
- Make strategic UX decisions related to core, and new, functions, features, and iterations by asking smart questions, taking risks and championing new ideas, liaising with stakeholders and running workshops.
- Producing high quality UX design solutions through user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes (micro animation and interaction design), whilst rigorously analysing business and customer needs alongside potential design options.
- Driving standards and capability development across the ST UX team.
Your skills and experience
- Incredibly driven and passionate about creating and building amazing products.
- Knowledge on how the Agile methodology is applied across the entire UX and development process, with an understanding of how to design components.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, whilst feeling comfortable working with, shaping and leading, consistent design standards and experience libraries and bringing brand language into UI work.
- Create documentation (Interactive play-books, UX documentation, site architecture, wire frames (using FIGMA), use cases and task flows, to be used by the team.
- Knowledge of and interest in Sustainability in Financial Services a plus
