User Experience (UX) Designer is responsible for enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and interaction between users and digital products. They conduct research, create wireframes, and work closely with stakeholders such as developers, business analysts and end users to craft seamless, intuitive, and visually appealing user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Create user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to illustrate design concepts.
- Collaborate with users, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to implement designs.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user interface (UI) design.
- Knowledge of usability principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and human-centered design.
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and user-focused mindset.
- Adaptability to work in fast-paced, iterative design environments.
Education & Experience:
- A degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Previous experience as a UX Designer, UI/UX Designer, or related role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UX design work.
