Our Client's Digital Health Team is looking for a UX Designer. Their mission is to empower people to live healthier lives by leveraging their wearables, smartphones, medical devices, AI, and health services. They research, develop, and commercialize innovative digital health products and solutions by bringing together the full capabilities of their team, including product strategy and management, clinical expertise, partnerships, UI/UX design, usability research, clinical research and validation, software development, AI / Gen AI, and regulatory. Role Purpose:
As a UX Designer, you will work with cross-disciplinary teams to develop meaningful UI/UX design, including brainstorming, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, and iterating based on research findings and documentation.
Work Location: Mountain View, CA; hybrid role (on-site 4 days a week)
Duration: 6-month contract with potential to extend for another 6-12 months, depending on the candidate's performance and work
Pay Range: $50/hr to $57/hr
Responsibilities:
- Work with lead designers creating meaningful experiences by delivering UX, UI design from concept through to shipping products
- Provide intuitive and creative solutions for complex design problems
- Work effectively with other designers, UX researchers, program managers, and hardware and software engineers in a highly collaborative environment
- Utilize design thinking and user-centered approaches to communicate your design ideas effectively
- Critically evaluate the success of your design and iterate for the best result to meet business goals
- Document, organize, and share project plans to ensure effective coordination with cross-functional teams
- 4+ years of experience in interaction and visual design
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Preferred in related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Principle, Keynote/PPT) for creating visual artifacts and presentations
- Skilled in concept ideation, wireframing, UI design, and hi-fi prototyping
- Solid portfolio with creative design works (shows the candidate's solid design process, with the candidate's previous work should be enough)
- Top 3 Skills for an ideal candidate: Visual skills, Storytelling, User experience, end-to-end Design process
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for articulating design concepts to teams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in self-directed teams, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and adapting to agile, startup-like environments
- The healthcare industry or consumer-facing experience is a huge plus
- Motion/animation skills are a plus
