UX Designer

Job Brief:
We are seeking a talented UX Designer with 3-6 years of experience who has actively contributed to multiple shipped projects. The ideal candidate will join our team to work on consumer products and services that impact millions of users worldwide. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver high-quality user experiences for VentureDive’s products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with product management and design teams to research and understand requirements, articulate user needs, and translate them into intuitive, elegant interface designs.
• Leading and contributing to cross-functional meetings, ensuring effective collaboration between design, product, and engineering teams.
• Developing and maintaining wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Defining and communicating scenarios, user flows, interaction models, and UI designs to stakeholders.
• Applying principles of layout, hierarchy, typography, color, and motion with strong rationale.
• Designing simple, functional, and visually compelling interfaces that align with business goals.
• Driving impactful solutions that address customer needs and align with business metrics.
• Balancing both design strategy and hands-on execution to deliver consistent and polished results.
• Exploring a broad range of design solutions and refining details through iteration.
• Staying updated on industry trends, customer insights, and competitive products to make informed design decisions.
• Supporting and facilitating meetings, ensuring actionable follow-ups and team alignment.
• Contributing to product strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics.
• Communicating effectively with leadership and project teams to influence outcomes.
• Creating and managing design systems within Figma to ensure consistency across products and streamline collaboration.
• Applying Figma variables (e.g., colors, typography, spacing) to enhance scalability and ensure consistent design components.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong expertise in User Research, Usability Testing, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and Prototyping.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and InVision.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test designs with users.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
• A balance of strong visual design and interaction design skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Comfortable driving and facilitating meetings with agendas, action items, and follow-ups.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio showcasing contributions to multiple shipped projects.
