Join BBH as a UX Designer
The UX Designer works proactively and independently, takes initiative, and assumes responsibility for visual and interaction design of a range of advanced digital tools. That includes creating high fidelity (pixel perfect) visual requirements and clickable prototypes. The UX Designer uses a comprehensive UX design process that includes research, ideation, iterative design and usability testing. The UX Designer engages collaboratively with other designers, product managers, business analysts and engineers to deliver pragmatic UX designs that meet business and user needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Mid-Level Designer works proactively and independently, takes initiative, and assumes responsibility for visual and interaction design of a range of digital tools. That includes:
- Translate business and user needs into visual and interaction design
- Creating high fidelity (pixel perfect) visual requirements and mockups
- Independently design advanced user journeys and create clickable prototypes
- Seeks and shares innovations and inspirations
- Proactively contribute to BBH Design System (UX guidelines, patterns, and UI components library)
- Actively contribute to UX consistency by looking across all projects, reviewing, providing feedback, maintaining, and establishing new common patterns
- Proactively review the work of other designers and provide feedback
2. Use comprehensive UX design process that include:
- Participating in discovery workshops
- Conducting user research
- Experience mapping – Personas, user journeys and information architectures
- Design ideation, exploration, and design generation workshops
- Usability testing
- Gathering feedback and traffic analysis after go-live
3. Leads the collaboration with other designers, product managers, business analyst and engineers to deliver feasible designs that meet business and user needs. Including:
- Work collaboratively on design generation with designers, product managers, business analysts and users
- Present designs and articulate value propositions
- Seek and gather feedback
- Translate feedback into design iterations
4. Independently and proactively support development process
- Work collaboratively with development teams and business analysts on implementing UI designs
- Support development by design documentation/specifications and active collaboration
- Adapt design based on feasibility, cost, and feedback from engineers
- Perform visual design audits and UI quality testing and provide recommendations for incremental improvement
- Actively Participate in maintaining the design system
5. Support marketing, sales and client roll out/onboarding processes
- Provide design materials – mockups, images, prototypes, visualizations requested by other teams for the purposes of marketing, sales and client roll out/onboarding
Education, Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
- BA or Equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience
- English – Advanced level in speaking and writing
- UX skills: Visual design skills, interaction design and prototyping and using appropriate software (FIGMA), ability to work with design systems and UI design patterns, understanding of software development processes, ability to articulate design decisions, conducting user research, experience mapping - using journeys and scenarios for design, design ideation and exploration, usability testing, gathering feedback and traffic analysis after go-live
