What you will need to have

  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products in fast-moving, cross-functional product development environments.
  • Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of features or product areas from discovery through launch.
  • Experience using customer research, usability testing, analytics or product feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to move initiatives forward.
  • Professional or native-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions, research and recommendations to varied audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, create structure in ambiguous situations and maintain strong alignment with broader teams.

What would be great to have

  • Experience designing products for hospitality, including restaurants, hotels or other service-based businesses.
  • Experience designing point-of-sale, payment, online ordering, kitchen operations, reservations or restaurant management tools.
  • Experience designing for both B2B and B2C users.
