Job Description
Position Summary:
Why this role matters
At Rockwell Automation, we design digital experiences that support industries around the world. As a UX Designer within our Enterprise Customer Experience (CX) organization, you’ll work on enterprise platforms that are used globally by customers, partners, and employees.
This role is part of the CX Design Team, where UX has a strong voice and real influence. Designers are involved early, their perspectives are valued, and design decisions genuinely shape business and technology outcomes.
You’ll collaborate with a highly multicultural team, based primarily in the US, made up of people with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. This diversity directly influences how we design solutions that need to work across markets, regions, and very different user profiles worldwide.
If you’re motivated by solving complex, meaningful problems—and you want your work to have visible, global impact—this role offers that opportunity.
You will report to the CX Design Leader.
Your Responsibilities:
As a UX Designer, you’ll contribute across the full design lifecycle for largescale enterprise platforms, working closely with crossfunctional partners.
You will:
- Collaborate with business transformation teams to apply user centered design and usability best practices across:
- CRM platforms
- Customer and partner portals
- Commerce and order management experiences
Using technologies such as Salesforce Customer 360, SAP Hybris, Adobe Experience Manager, and MuleSoft.
- Build a strong understanding of how customers, partners, and employees use existing enterprise platforms, and use that knowledge to inform improvements in new solutions.
- Create and maintain core design artifacts, including:
- User flows, wireframes, and scenarios
- Navigation maps and system overviews
- Interactive prototypes for validation and iteration
- Participate in design reviews and validation sessions with stakeholders and adjacent teams, incorporating feedback while balancing user needs and business constraints.
- Help define clear, usable interaction patterns and interfaces that improve user productivity and support business goals.
- Deliver high-fidelity, production ready designs and specifications that enable smooth handoff to development teams.
- Contribute to the evolution and consistency of UX standards, guidelines, and shared design practices across the organization.
- Leverage user research, usability testing, and data to support and validate design decisions.
- Clearly communicate design concepts and rationale through presentations and written documentation, adapting your message to different audiences.

- Strong collaboration culture

- Room to grow
This role offers space to deepen your enterprise UX skills while learning from a global, experienced team.

- Solid communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to simplify complex systems without compromising essential functionality.

- Ability to map complex, multistep, multipersona workflows and identify pain points.
- Experience using research and data to inform design decisions.
- Ability to participate in user research and usability testing (including A/B testing).
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
