Job Title: UX Designer – Design Systems & AI Workflows

Possible locations: Šenčur, Slovenia (hybrid), Austria (remote), or Reading, United Kingdom (hybrid or remote).

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

The Role

We’re hiring a UX Designer – Design Systems & AI Workflows to help accelerate the next evolution of our product experience. We need someone who doesn't just build components, but treats our design system as a living product. Your mission will be to help scale our design system, streamline our team’s operational workflows, and actively look for ways to improve our everyday UX practices with the help of AI.

This is an impactful, highly collaborative role where you can truly make your mark. You will help bridge the gap between design and engineering, reduce operational friction, and leverage AI to speed up prototyping, documentation, and asset management. Your work will directly influence how multiple global enterprise products look, behave, and scale together.

What We're Looking For

We want a proactive, system-minded designer who is excited about optimizing processes and adopting new tech. You are a UX professional who:

  • Sees the ecosystem, not just the individual screen.

  • Is passionate about operational efficiency, workflows, and clean design-to-code handover processes.

  • Enjoys experimenting with emerging AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and speed up workflows.

  • Can clearly explain and defend their design and operational decisions to cross-department peers and stakeholders.

  • Communicates openly, asks great questions, and loves bringing people together to solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Design System & Tokens Management: Maintain and evolve the design system library by defining components, documentation, and guidelines to ensure efficient adoption.

  • DesignOps & Workflow Optimization: Work closely with the broader team to optimise design tools, standardise templates, and streamline the delivery pipeline between UX and Engineering.

  • AI Integration: Actively explore, test, and implement AI-driven tools and workflows across the design process to help our team move faster.

  • Engineering Collaboration: Partner with developers to ensure design system tokens and components align smoothly with code repositories (like Storybook).

  • Address UX Debt: Lead audits and clean-up processes to eliminate inconsistencies across the enterprise platform or to introduce new functionalities in a scalable way.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a focus on design systems and operational workflows within an enterprise environment.

  • Strong Mastery of Figma: Solid experience with variables/tokens, complex variants, auto-layout, and building usable and feasible component libraries.

  • Tech-Forward Mindset: Experience using, or a strong desire to pilot, AI tools to optimise design work.

  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with how design systems interface with engineering tools (e.g., Zeroheight, Storybook, or token translation tools).

  • Detail-Oriented & Structured: An understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how components scale across complex, enterprise software.

  • Great Collaboration Skills: Ability to work across remote, global teams, take constructive feedback, and align with engineering partners.

What We Value

  • Be Humble: We listen actively, stay open to feedback, and value every perspective, because great ideas can come from anywhere.

  • Own It: We take initiative, follow through, and hold ourselves accountable for the quality and impact of our work.

  • Be Curious: We ask questions, challenge assumptions, and continuously seek better ways and new technologies to solve complex problems.

  • Make a Difference: We design with purpose, creating experiences that support real people and drive meaningful outcomes for our customers.

Why Join Us?

  • Working for the undisputed global leader in a business-critical industry offers unparalleled possibilities.

  • Our team is made up of the most talented, curious, and inspiring people in their fields, each bringing something unique to the table.
