As a UX Design Intern, you'll collaborate on projects spanning our diverse, in-house Operations and Fintech products. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing our products' functionality and expanding their reach across different user types and use cases, contributing to our growth and innovation.Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat would this internship entail?

  • Research our users with a passion for how they think and work

  • Assemble wireframes using our pre-designed interface patterns

  • Design innovative user interactions for core business workflows

  • Tell the story with outstanding spoken and written communication

  • Continually learn about new UX concepts and share with UX team

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • Experience designing web applications and mobile experiences using Figma or similar design tools

  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college

  • Major in Design, Product, Research, Psychology, or related discipline

  • Experience with User Testing software

What does high performance look like?Working closely with users, product managers, and the rest of the UX team, the recipe for success in this role will come through attention to detail, proactive and precise communication, asking the right questions, diving into a problem to find the appropriate solution, iterating with intention, and understanding Pattern’s goals and how our solutions help our users reach those goals.What is my potential for career growth?While there is no set position available at the end of the internship, the right candidate, executing at a high level may be considered for a role post internship, or an extension to continue working with the team.What is the team like?The Pattern UX team currently includes 13 designers across 2 offices working on 6 products. The team includes a diverse mix of backgrounds and experience levels. All of which are ready and willing to provide feedback and insights into the profession. Sounds great!
