Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the overall strategy for the Marketing and Business Development departments, ensuring alignment with UWallet's goals and commercial priorities.
- Business Development Growth: Lead the expansion of UWallet's network of agents, corporate entities and strategic partners, identify new business opportunities, and support sustainable revenue and market-share growth.
- Market Intelligence: Use market analysis, customer insights and business intelligence to guide market positioning, business development priorities, pricing and marketing strategies.
- Business Opportunities and Partnerships: Oversee tenders, proposals, presentations, negotiations and contractual arrangements with corporate entities, government representatives, agents and strategic partners.
- Network and Account Management: Ensure that business entities and agents are effectively onboarded, supported and fully utilizing UWallet's services and network capabilities, while monitoring revenues, targets and service levels.
- Marketing and Brand Management: Direct marketing plans, campaigns, communications, public relations, sponsorships and market announcements in line with UWallet's brand positioning and commercial objectives.
- Commercial and Service Alignment: Work closely with Product, Operations and other internal teams to define, launch and enhance services for target customers, business entities and agents, ensuring service readiness and continuity.
- Cross-Functional Governance: Work with all departments to ensure that UWallet's products and services comply with regulatory requirements, proactively address and mitigate risks, remain competitively and transparently priced, and are positioned to strengthen the company's market leadership.
- OKR Oversight: Monitor and follow up on the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) of the Marketing and Business Development departments and other relevant functions, ensuring that teams remain on track and aligned with strategic priorities.
- External Representation: Represent UWallet at relevant events, workshops, conferences and business meetings, and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, agents, government representatives and other stakeholders.
- Direct Report Alignment: Ensure that the Marketing Manager and Relationships & Business Development Manager operate within the defined commercial strategy, coordinate their initiatives and deliver their agreed objectives.
Leadership/Management
- Manage subordinates’ learning & development requirements and ensure that it is successfully delivered and provide related feedback to the management.
- Assign roles and workload distribution, set team objectives and conduct regular informal one-on-one meetings to deliver personalized feedback and provide support to attain goals
- Conduct formal performance evaluation process for the subordinates in order to optimize workplace productivity
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, evaluation process of new employees.
- Provide guidance and delegate responsibilities to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks to support succession planning process
- Manage subordinates' administrational requirements
- Assure that all subordinates are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct
- Manage economic, efficient, and effective budget plan and control in alignment with the department and Umniah’s strategy.
- Ensure that employees are engaged and motivated through creating a respectful and trusting relationship with them and communicating Umniah values
- Demonstrate flexibility in management by accommodating individual employee needs such as adjustable schedules or remote work options
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or any other related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years.
Certificates:
Leadership certification, MBA is a plus.

Knowledge:
- Jordan's fintech and payments ecosystem; customer behavior and financial services market trends.
- Business development, account management, and partnership models.
