UTIF Business Analyst

Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. 

Accountabilities

• Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
• Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
• Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
• Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
• Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

To be successful as an “UTIF Business Analyst ", you should have experience with:

  Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualification – bachelor’s degree.

• Experience in Business Analysis for Investment Banking Capital Markets Domain

• Experience in Business process modelling experience preferably using Camunda BPMN.

• Experience in Data modelling in IB Domain, Capital Markets across Securities, OTC and Derivatives products

• Experience in working on data attributes used to define various data models like Trades, Securities Positions and Cash, Margin, Asset servicing, Confirms

• Experience in working within Operations across front or middle or back office data

• 5+ running SQL Query and data/log analysis

• Clear communication and business writing skills

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

• Problem solving skills to review system and operational issues and provide a solution by working across various teams.

• Having operations background is a plus.

• Experience working in various Settlements and Sub ledger functions like PNS, Stock Record and Settlements, PnL

• Knowledge in BPS, IMPACT & Gloss products from Broadridge

• Ability to write python code to analyze data and logs to gain insights from production data.

This role will be based out of Pune.
