MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking UT Level II Technicians (NDT) for full-time employment for our New Kensington, PA

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

Candidate must be flexible and possess ability to work in Shop environment for a variety of industries such as Aerospace, FAA, Construction, Oils & Gas (manufacturing) and DoD.  A great opportunity for someone looking to be part of a growing team as well as high potential for future career advancement!  To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • In-house plant/shop atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and clients.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around other NDT inspection equipment and Forklifts moving parts around can cause elevated noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

Applicants must be able to provide the following QA Documents:

  • Level II UT Technician (900hrs)
  • The candidate must have experience or prior certification as an NDE Level II technician with adequate, documented experience hours as required by ASNT-TC-1A Standard or NAS 410
  • Aerospace Experience is a major plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to conduct inspections.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a professional manner with fellow employees.
