USI-CTS SAP Payroll Functional Consultant with S/4HANA Concurrent Employment

We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Functional Consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Payroll and Concurrent Employment. The consultant will support and lead payroll configurations, integrations/Data Replications, testing, deployment, and production support for employees holding multiple active assignments.

Concurrent Employment requires separate employment records and user IDs for each assignment, while maintaining one person-level record. In S/4HANA, these assignments may be replicated as separate personnel numbers linked to one Central Person.

Design and support S/4HANA Concurrent Employment solutions involving:

• Primary and secondary assignments
  
• Multiple Employee Central user IDs
  
• Assignment-specific job, compensation, time, and payment information
  
• Multiple ECP PERNRs linked to a Central Person
  
• Payroll processing by employment while supporting applicable person-level tax and statutory requirements
  

Configure and troubleshoot S/4HANA replication using:

• Point-to-Point replication
  
• Compound Employee API
  
• Employment, job, compensation, and personal information segments
  
• Primary and secondary assignment indicators
  
• Error monitoring, reprocessing, and data validation
  

Analyze payroll impacts for concurrent employees, including:

• Separate payroll calculations by PERNR
  
• Tax and social security limits
  
• Benefits and deductions across assignments
  
• Cost center and organizational assignments
  
• Payroll results and employee remuneration statements
  

Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Integration, and Security teams to define requirements and resolve issues.

Assess downstream integration impacts for benefits, time management, identity management, banking, and third-party systems that must support multiple active assignments.

Lead configuration change documentation, test scripts, defect resolution, Transport migration planning, and Change Control Borad (CCB) support.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SAP HCM Payroll or S/4HANA Payroll.
  
• Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting S/4 Concurrent Employment.
  
• Strong understanding of:
  
  • Employee Central person, employment, and user data structures
    
  • Primary and secondary assignments
    
  • PERNR and Central Person relationships
    
  • Employee Central to S/4HANA replication
    
  • Payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll processing
    
• Experience with payroll testing, including unit, integration, parallel, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  
• Experience troubleshooting replication, payroll calculation, master data, and integration defects.
  
• Ability to create functional specifications and work effectively with technical integration teams.
  
• Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
