Join our dynamic team as a User Experience (UX) Design Manager in our St. Louis Office and enjoy a role that blends flexibility, leadership, and meaningful impact. We offer a hybrid work schedule—work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays—giving you the best of both worlds.
As a UX Design Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping user-centered product experiences that serve our members. You will build, mentor, and lead a small but high-performing UX team across all phases of the design process—research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing. Your leadership will help drive a design culture rooted in empathy, innovation, and measurable impact.
We're looking for a seasoned UX professional with 8–10 years of hands-on UX design experience and a proven track record of leading design teams to deliver high-impact solutions. You’ll be responsible for setting a strategic UX vision while also rolling up your sleeves to guide execution in a fast-paced, agile environment. If you're passionate about leading teams, designing with purpose, and shaping experiences that matter, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
- Initiate user-centered product design for CCA and build a cohesive, effective team.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure alignment with business KPI’s and project goals.
- Create intuitive and elegant UX solutions that address user problems effectively.
- Develop and maintain a UX program to guide designers, product managers and tech teams towards achieving UX objectives.
- Conduct user testing, leveraging data to inform design decisions and lead product design efforts, ensuring cohesive and innovative solutions.
- Design UX best practices and establish efficient processes, integrating these into the team’s workflow.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 8–10 years of UX design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UX strategy, user research, and design work that led to measurable improvements in product outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; confident in articulating design rationale and influencing decision-makers.
- A balanced mindset that blends big-picture thinking with hands-on design execution.
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Discuss.io, WEVO, or similar.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering.
- Some flexibility to travel to member stores and NH headquarters.
- We provide YOU the ability to collaborate with a passionate group of leaders, peers, and amazing Members.
- We recognize YOU for your accomplishments and contributions through development, growth and compensation!
- We care about you AND your family. We want to make your life better and easier. Our benefits exist so you are well taken care of, and we support you and your loved ones through life’s various stages and situations.
