Job Description

We are looking for a highly talented Senior User Experience Research Manager to join our team in Riyadh. Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of team involvement in user research, team analysis, design rationale and decision making based on user needs
  • Manage the usability and accessibility testing process from recruiting participants, designing test tasks, and preparing discussion guides, to test moderation, analysis and presenting results
  • Influence other teams (tribes) or entities (global) agenda with their findings and vision of the product strategy, considering larger business goals and longer term vision
  • Collaborate in global or domains or cross company research topics and could be a reference for the topic outside the company
  • Understands and carries business and user goals & priorities into the research roadmaps and plans.
  • Produces and communicates robust research insights that impact the strategy at cross tribe or/and global level
  • Make exceptional product strategy contributions, facilitating discussions and workshops, where there is likely to be a significant business or organizational impact
  • Create Organizational courses to share Research 101 thinking to all learn from and be implemented by research team
  • Assessing which areas are worthy of future research in line with business/ commercial objectives, and starting projects to look into them.
  • Strong command of a broad set of qualitative and quantitative user research methods with the ability to discern and recommend the right method(s) for a project.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement Agile UX research practices.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of creative and advertising production and design aesthetic
  • Help develop customer personas and map out the end to end customer journey across
  • Defines together with the team the research processes
  • Manages the collaboration interfaces with design
  • Challenges existing and adapts new methods
  • Participate in the Division’s budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process
  • Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for their respective Department
  • Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience Design, Design Communication, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Human Factors, Psychology, Design, HCI, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in user research across qualitative and quantitative methods
  • 1-2 years experience leading a research team
  • High level expert in experimental design for qualitative research, user-centered design methodology, data analysis, and reporting and communicating results
  • Expert level planning, designing, preparing and running user research activities to support the design, development and continuous improvement (including contextual discovery, experience mapping, diary studies, early stage concept and prototype testing, lab based and contextual usability and accessibility testing)
  • Arabic and English language is required
  • Experience with KSA market is highly preferred
