UX Designer, AI Experiences
About the Role
We are looking for an experience-obsessed maker who cares deeply about how people and technology meet. You will start with people, understand them, see their struggles, and find opportunities for AI to make a difference. From there, you will shape elegant, intuitive, and intelligent experiences across screens, conversations, or entirely new interaction models.You will not stop at concepts. You will build what you imagine, creating working prototypes, testing them with real users, learning quickly, and refining until the experience feels effortless.This role blends design craft, AI fluency, and creative engineering. You will use tools such as Figma and Claude while experimenting with emerging agent frameworks to bring ideas to life. You’ll join a Cleveland-based team that also includes remote teammates across the U.S. and Canada. Some client travel may be part of the role.

What You Will Do
• Lead end-to-end experience design from research and concepting to prototyping and live iteration.
• Bring clients along as co-builders, helping them shape cutting-edge AI experiences that turn their expertise into intuitive, intelligent products.
• Prototype across modalities including interface, chat, voice, and generative media using AI tools to shorten design and feedback cycles.
• Architect scalable AI-ready design systems that ensure consistency, accessibility, and innovation across products.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and data scientists to define new AI-powered user journeys.
• Operate with high agency by translating ambiguity into tangible next steps, shipping often, and learning even faster.
• Mentor teammates and build a culture of experimentation, craft, and curiosity around AI-native design.
AI-Native Design Traits
• Work fluidly across both design and development environments, moving easily between visual creation and technical prototyping.
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate exploration, planning, and refinement throughout your workflow.
• Prototype with generative technologies to bring intelligent, interactive experiences to life.
• Continuously learn, document, and share new methods that improve team velocity and creative quality.
• Think systematically and design experiences that scale across modalities and contexts.
• Bring creativity and technical empathy, knowing when to explore, when to automate, and when to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
You Will Thrive in This Role If You Have
• Proven user experience leadership in digital product design, ideally with AI or other emerging technologies.
• Experience designing conversational, adaptive, or multimodal interfaces. • A strong foundation in design systems and accessibility standards.
• The ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear, human-centered experiences.
•Collaboration skills across research, engineering, and data science teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• High judgment in dynamic environments and the ability to balance speed, craft, and experimentation.
• A growth mindset and an empathy-driven approach to teamwork and leadership.
Preferred Extras
Experience working with modern AI frameworks and agentic development environments. Understanding of natural language systems and conversational experience architecture. Comfort creating with generative media across voice, image, and video formats. Experience facilitating AI design workshops or co-building sessions with clients to explore new interaction models.
