User Experience Design AdvisorWhat does a successful User Experience Design Advisor do at Fiserv?As a successful User Experience Design Advisor, you will design experiences that simplify and elevate how people move money and information. You will work with the Product Design team, driving high‑quality user experiences across mobile and web platforms.
What you will do:- Partner with Product Managers to break down complex problems, define user journeys, and translate business goals into user stories and experience requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet high standards of quality.
Create user flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity mockups that clearly communicate design intent, interactions, and end‑to‑end user experiences.
Ensure consistency of design systems, UI patterns, language, and branding across all product surfaces, including mobile apps, web applications, email communications, and supporting materials.
Iterate rapidly on designs using post‑launch analytics, usability findings, and user feedback to continuously improve the experience.
Present design concepts, rationale, and trade‑offs to design peers, cross‑functional stakeholders, and clients, incorporating feedback to refine and polish solutions.
Craft proof‑of‑concept designs and visually compelling pitch decks that enhance client presentations and articulate product value.
Contribute to UX best practices, design standards, and shared patterns that improve efficiency and consistency across the design team.
Balance short‑term delivery needs with long‑term experience quality and maintainability.
7–8 years of professional digital design experience across native mobile applications and web platforms.
Strong foundation in user experience principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
Excellent understanding of visual design fundamentals, including layout, hierarchy, color, typography, and composition.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an agile product development environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design decisions and influence stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in design, human‑computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
What would be great to have:
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with additional standard design tools as needed
