Job Summary:
The User Acceptance Testing Specialist (Bangalore) is responsible for undertaking user acceptance activities to support the release of ecommerce development to production as defined by the overall digital product strategy and as allocated by the Senior Product Manager - Launch. This spans all platforms (desktop and mobile) across all Premier Farnell’s digital properties. The role will work closely with Digital Product Managers, Marketing Ecommerce, and GIS teams as well as Regional Sales and Marketing organizations to ensure that development projects are ready for launch optimised on the web to drive overall ecommerce penetration and sales performance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
-
4 years experience working within a significant eCommerce organisation.
Demonstrable experience of system testing in an eCommerce environment
Ability to create and execute a system test plan on a project by project basis.
Working knowledge of IT/eCommerce project lifecycles.
Experience of working with and the creation of, business rules, functional specification documents and other relevant documentation for test planning.
Experience of working with teams that cross international boundaries.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and MS Project
Familiarity with typical eCommerce system architecture.
Ability to plan and prioritise own work effectively to achieve commercially focused goals.
Excellent communicator.
Desirable Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable knowledge of latest trends in digital product and usability.
Knowledge of Agile Ways of Working
Knowledge of Jira
Knowledge of Zephyr
