Job Summary:

The Used Car Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the operations of the used car sales team at Hanania Automotive Group. This role plays a vital role in promoting the Hanania brand and culture, maintaining a positive attitude, and providing high energy leadership. The Director ensures the team's success by providing guidance, support, and motivation in a fast-paced environment, driving the continued growth of the dealership.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train staff for the used car team.
  • Organize and oversee the schedules and performance of the used car team members.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Handle employee discipline and termination in compliance with company policy.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize at least 5 years of progressive management experience in the Automotive Dealership industry, specifically in Used Vehicle Sales Management.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of MS Office applications, computer software, and internet proficiency.
  • Show enthusiasm for the Automotive Dealership industry, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Foster superior customer service by ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and a dedicated work ethic.
  • Commit to continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
  • Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) by delivering exceptional service.
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset to drive effective resolutions.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities:           

  • 5+ years of progressive management experience in the Automotive Dealership industry.
  • Specific experience in Used Vehicle Sales Management.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications, computer software, and internet proficiency.
  • Enthusiasm for the Automotive Dealership industry, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)

 

Education & Experience:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role at a dealership.
  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience maintaining high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.
  • Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership
