Position: USASAC Logistics Analyst III
Overview: ITC is seeking a senior Logistics Analyst III to support the USASAC FMS Enterprise Programmatic Support Services Contract. This role combines hands-on logistics execution with strategic-level analysis in support of the Security Assistance Enterprise. The Logistics Analyst III performs analysis, detailed planning, and execution of all logistics support across the system life cycle, while also participating in and providing strategic and operational analysis of national and regional strategic documents, assessing impacts and opportunities to the Security Assistance Enterprise, and assisting in the development of strategies for implementing USASAC's strategic support plans. The position requires strong organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills, and serves as a senior resource to junior personnel. This role carries heightened visibility with the customer and direct accountability for the quality of logistics products and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Performs analysis, detailed planning, and execution of all logistics support, including material goods, personnel, operational maintenance, and the repair of systems throughout their life cycles.
- Conducts feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, and policy standards and procedures development in support of logistics planning.
- Participates in and provides strategic and operational analysis and assessment of national and regional strategic documents.
- Researches and analyzes strategic plans and initiatives and assesses potential impacts and opportunities to the Security Assistance Enterprise.
- Assists in the development of strategies for implementing USASAC's strategic support plans.
- Collects data regarding security assistance strategy and plans, analyzes findings, and makes recommendations regarding USASAC equities and opportunities.
- Provides milestone planning recommendations and analysis in strategic planning meetings.
- Leads demand planning and transportation support activities, including forecasting of materiel requirements, resolution of supply shortfalls, and oversight of movement and distribution.
- Performs logistics support planning, material fielding, and sustainment activities for systems, major end items, supply, and maintenance operations.
- Identifies and resolves complex logistics issues, developing courses of action and recommendations with associated costs, risks, benefits, and implications.
- Analyzes complex logistics and strategic data from multiple systems and sources to identify trends, shortfalls, risks, and opportunities affecting supportability, readiness, and enterprise strategy.
- Prepares and delivers reports, position papers, decision products, and briefings to program leadership and senior customer stakeholders, defending analysis and recommendations under review.
- Applies organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills in support of demand planning, transportation support, building customer relationships, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Assists Level I and Level II Logisticians as needed to define and analyze problems and make recommendations, providing technical guidance, quality review, and mentorship.
- Coordinates across supply, maintenance, transportation, contracting, engineering, strategic planning, and customer organizations to align logistics execution with enterprise objectives.
- Responds to data calls, customer requirements, and leadership inquiries with accurate, timely, and well-supported analysis.
- Handles sensitive, proprietary, and controlled information with a high degree of discretion and in accordance with company policy and contract requirements.

- A minimum of eight (8) years of logistical experience and technical experience in logistics support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support for systems, major end items, supply, or maintenance operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration or other related technical or professional discipline.
- Experience in logistics support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support for systems, major end items, supply, or maintenance organizations.
- Demonstrated experience conducting feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, and the development of policy standards and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience performing strategic and operational analysis, including the review and assessment of strategic plans, initiatives, or strategic documents.
- Demonstrated organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver analysis, recommendations, and briefings to senior government leadership.
- Active Interim Secret Clearance or above is required at the time of hire.
- Experience supporting Security Assistance, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), USASAC, or U.S. Army logistics programs.
- Experience analyzing national or regional strategic documents and assessing impacts to organizational strategy, mission, or equities.
- Experience contributing to strategic planning, strategic support plan development, or milestone planning at an enterprise or command level.
- Experience providing technical guidance or mentorship to junior logistics personnel.
- Working knowledge of DoD or Army logistics systems, security assistance processes, and life cycle sustainment.
- Prior military logistics experience or DoD civilian logistics experience at a command or enterprise level.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Relevant certification (e.g., DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level II/III, APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP, or PMP).
