- Experience developing data pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and programming or scripting used to ingest, transform, and validate data.

- Ability to implement data quality checks, metadata practices, and traceable source-to-target mappings.
- Experience developing or integrating APIs and troubleshooting data-sharing interfaces.
- Experience with automated deployment, source control, configuration management, and testing.
- Understanding of data governance, access controls, and secure handling of mission information.
- Ability to monitor pipeline performance, resolve failures, and maintain clear technical documentation
- Gather and analyze approved data requirements, source characteristics, integration dependencies, and reporting needs with Government stakeholders.
- Assess existing infrastructure and data sources; maintain inventories and identify capability, accessibility, and data quality gaps.
- Design and implement Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes, data structures, and integration workflows under approved business intelligence architecture.
- Build, configure, and maintain data warehouse and data lake capabilities in accordance with Government-approved designs and data models.
- Develop repeatable ingestion and transformation pipelines to clean, standardize, validate, and prepare data from approved sources.
- Implement data quality monitoring and remediation processes; investigate incomplete, inconsistent, duplicate, or invalid data and report corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain data tagging and metadata management in accordance with approved standards; document source mappings and transformation lineage.
- Develop, document, test, and maintain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and data-sharing interfaces under approved requirements and interagency agreements.
- Optimize authorized data exchange processes and analytical queries; coordinate interoperability and interface changes with mission partners and technical teams.
- Develop queries and datasets supporting reports, interactive dashboards, and Government-approved KPIs, including permitted fusion of external agency data.
- Prepare approved training datasets and support data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering in collaboration with data scientists.
- Implement data security and access controls through DevSecOps practices consistent with approved system security plans and authorization boundaries.
- Use automated pipelines, version control, and configuration management for data platform changes; test before Government review and authorized production deployment.
- Monitor pipeline and business intelligence environment health and performance; investigate failures, maintain alerts, and provide operational status reports.
- Maintain technical designs, data dictionaries, interface specifications, procedures, and as-built documentation; support approved governance improvements and user training.
