Position Summary...As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. What you'll do...About the team:
The team focuses on performance engineering within the VIZIO product line, ensuring all performance requirements are thoroughly validated. It utilizes an in-house developed reporting tool for comprehensive data analytics. Near-term objectives include benchmarking against competitor product lines to maintain competitive advantage. The team collaborates closely to deliver high-quality software solutions, emphasizing continuous development, debugging, and testing. Members apply strong technical skills in platform design, product strategy, and iterative development to drive innovation and maintain system reliability. This team plays a critical role in enhancing product performance and supporting business goals through data-driven insights.
What you'll do:

• Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaboration with engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
• Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure software quality and performance.
• Monitor application performance and support continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
• Proven ability to deliver scoped features and models through collaborative, iterative development and continuous integration.
• Demonstrated skills in AI/ML integration and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Solid understanding of platform design, product strategy, and technical solution design aligned with business objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
