The Senior Manager, Data Engineering leads the design and implementation of scalable data solutions that support business objectives. This role requires expertise in data integration, transformation, and governance within cloud and big data environments. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex business challenges into effective data strategies and architectures. The successful candidate will oversee data quality, modeling, and automation efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This leadership role fosters innovation and continuous improvement to optimize data assets and drive informed decision-making across the organization.
About the team:
The Supply Chain Centralized Services - Data Enablement team develops advanced data solutions supporting Flow, Quality, and Maintenance Reliability operations and transformation. The team leverages expertise in data engineering, big data analytics, SQL programming, data transformation, and integration to build scalable, efficient data pipelines and models. Collaborating across functions, the team ensures data governance, quality, and strategic alignment with business goals. Members apply innovative techniques to automate data processes, enabling actionable insights that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the supply chain.
What you'll do:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data engineering solutions across multiple platforms.
• Translate complex business problems into data-driven strategies and technical implementations.
• Oversee data integration, transformation, and quality assurance processes to ensure reliable data pipelines.
• Implement and maintain data governance practices aligned with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business objectives.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices in data modeling, coding, and testing.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance big data analytics capabilities and automation.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in data engineering, including data transformation, integration, and big data analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages relevant to data pipeline development and automation.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security.
• Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and cloud-based big data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or Google BigQuery.
• Ability to design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines using modern tools and orchestration frameworks.
• Proven capability to translate complex business requirements into effective data solutions and strategies.
• Experience leading and mentoring, fostering continuous improvement and innovation in data engineering practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related field. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related field. Option 3: Master's degree in Computer Science and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
4 years' experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
