The Manager, Marketplace Payment Operations leads day-to-day payment operations across assigned areas, ensuring reliable execution, effective seller resolution, and strong operational performance. About the team:
The Payments Operations team leads the strategy and execution of Walmart Marketplace Payments, ensuring secure, scalable, and seamless payment experiences. Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Seller Risk, Legal, Finance, and Seller Support, the team manages financial, compliance, and reputational risks. It drives operational excellence through automation, process governance, analytics, and proactive seller support across the payments lifecycle. What you'll do:
- Own Marketplace Payment Operations across assigned areas, ensuring accurate execution, timely seller resolution, and operational performance.
- Manage complex payment issues, incidents, and escalations across Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Seller Support, and payment partners.
- Drive operational excellence through KPIs, SLAs, controls, SOPs, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Identify product, tooling, and automation opportunities that improve seller experience and reduce manual operations.
