Our Financial Services practice are looking for Summer Interns to join the team.What you will be doing

Our eight-week summer internship program will kickstart your career in an award-winning management consultancy firm. You will gain an understanding of the consulting business model as well as valuable experience on aspects of the consulting project lifecycle, business analysis and client engagement techniques.  

You will be part of a high caliber consulting team working alongside industry specialists, and other consultants on project engagements. Our clients range from  global retail and commercial banks to asset managers. During the internship, you will also have the opportunity to work with Baringa colleagues on initiatives designed to help continue to grow our Financial Services footprint across the US. We will also provide you with a ‘buddy’ from the business unit you’re working for to ensure you have a friendly face to ask questions of during your time with us, as well as an advisor to guide you throughout your time here.

As part of the continued growth and development of our Financial Services consulting business, we are looking for individuals who are interested in delivery and advisory in all or some of the following areas:  

  • Process Improvement  
  • Project Management  
  • People and Culture Management  
  • Change Management  
  • Business and IT transformation  
  • Data strategy, architecture, and management 
  • Agile delivery

Requirements:
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship 
  • Applicants must be willing to travel to the NYC office
  • Applicants must be able to be in-person at the Baringa and/or client offices in the tri-state area for the entirety of the Internship program. The position will be on a hybrid basis, with some time spent working remotely and a few days a week on-site.  
  • Applicants must be in their junior year of college studies  
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the US 
  • Applicants must display a good mix of work experience or internships, extra-curricular activities (societies, sports clubs, etc.), and / or volunteering work
