🚀 Context

Veesion builds AI-powered loss prevention software for physical retailers, working with grocery stores, convenience stores and pharmacies across Europe and the US.

The US is our biggest growth market. As we move from independent retailers towards larger grocery chains, building awareness and credibility before the sales conversation starts is becoming increasingly important.

That’s where this role comes in ! You’ll help grow Veesion’s presence in the US through PR, organic social, email, blog and SEO. PR will be the main focus, but you’ll work across several channels and see how they come together to build a brand and generate demand.

We’re a startup, and the US team is still relatively small. Priorities change, new opportunities appear quickly, and the role will evolve over the six months. If you want broad exposure, real ownership and the chance to learn quickly, you’ll have plenty to work on.

🎯 Key Responsibilities1. PR & customer content - your main focus
  • Own the press inbox: triage inbound journalist requests, qualify them, route them to the right spokesperson and track every deadline

  • Run continuous outbound pitching to US media: build and maintain the media list across TV, radio, print, digital, trade and local outlets

  • Pitch story angles to reporters covering retail, organized retail crime, loss prevention and AI

  • Help prepare press releases, media kits and reactive comment lines

  • Track coverage: monitor mentions, keep the coverage tracker current, and report placements and share of voice monthly

  • Work hand in hand with our CSM team to spot happy customers and turn them into content: press interviews, video testimonials, case studies and quotes

  • Identify which customer fits which opportunity, coordinate the shoot and interview dates, and make sure the customer gets their reward

2. Organic social
  • Grow a real US audience on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, and help us test TikTok

  • Produce the content that audience comes for: build the calendar, create and adapt assets from our brand kit, and repurpose what we already have

  • Write thought leadership content for our US sales team to publish on their own LinkedIn profiles

  • Turn earned coverage into organic content, so every placement gets a second life

  • Support the relaunch of the US Instagram account using existing content

  • Monitor comments and messages coming in from our posts, and answer or route them

3. Content, email & SEO
  • Email: help build, launch and report on our email campaigns and sequences in HubSpot and Lemlist

  • Blog and SEO: produce content for the US market, using AI to research and draft, and contribute to the SEO strategy

  • Content creation: help produce case studies and infographics with Claude (Code and Design), Canva and Affinity, and repurpose content from conferences and trade shows into assets we can reuse across our organic channels

  • Audience capture: build simple ways to convert the attention we earn into contacts, such as lead magnets inside blog posts and email capture

  • Website: help migrate, sort and refresh content when we rebuild the site

👤 Who we’re looking for
  • Student in communication, marketing or business

  • Native-level English. Non-negotiable: you will be writing to and speaking with US journalists

  • Based in Paris, or able to move here for the internship starting in October 2026

  • Genuinely interested in media and news: you read the press, and you understand what makes a story

  • Comfortable with rejection and follow-up. Most pitches go nowhere, and the job is to keep going anyway

  • Comfortable with change: see the section above, we mean it

  • Curious about AI tools. Daily use is a real plus

  • Previous experience with PR, media or marketing tools is a plus

(e.g. HubSpot, Lemlist, Claude, Canva, Affinity, ChatGPT)

🎓 What You Will Learn
  • How a B2B PR engine actually works, from media list to published article

  • Pitching and building relationships with national and trade journalists

  • How to build a social audience from close to zero, rather than inheriting one

  • Our full AI stack, used daily on real work. Most people use AI to polish an email. You will use Claude and the rest of our stack to research, produce and ship, and that is a skill you take with you

  • Marketing operations in HubSpot and Lemlist: campaigns, sequences, reporting

  • Working in a performance-driven, international environment

🌟 What's included in the offer
  • 2 remote workdays per week 💻

  • 1 paid day off per months 🌴

  • Meal vouchers of €9.20 per working day (Swile) 🍔

  • 50% Navigo reimbursement 🚆

  • Based in Paris or able to relocate to Paris for the internship starting October 2026
  • Genuine interest in media and news
  • Comfortable with rejection and persistent follow-up
