We are currently looking for a US Operations Specialist to help us in our mission.
🫀Key Responsibilities
- Maintain end-to-end product traceability through accurate inventory, asset, and distribution records within the ERP system.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee product movements to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock monitoring, forecasting, replenishment, and reconciliation activities.
- Support inventory and operational audits and help identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Continuously assess and improve operational workflows and processes.
- Conduct operational audits to identify discrepancies and support corrective actions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support business needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of US operational processes as the organization grows.
- Manage the completion and collection of installation, maintenance, and RMA documentation in accordance with QMS requirements.
- Support US QMS activities related to document control, product traceability, records management, and quality system compliance.
- Identify, document, and escalate product complaints and quality issues to the Quality Assurance team in accordance with complaint-handling procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support complaint investigations, technical escalations, and corrective actions in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready operational and quality records.
- Provide occasional support for the installation, configuration, deployment, and servicing of devices.
- Coordinate operational activities required to support the effective deployment and ongoing management of Volta systems.
- Provide logistical support for corporate events, conferences, and other business activities as needed.
As the US Operations Specialist, you will oversee and coordinate key operational, supply chain, and quality system activities to ensure the efficient and compliant execution of business operations.
This role is responsible for managing logistics, inventory, and operational processes, while serving as the US QMS focal point for document control, traceability, records management, and quality system compliance.
Working cross-functionally with Operations, Sales team, Quality, Engineering, and other internal teams, you will help drive operational excellence, maintain regulatory readiness, and support the continued growth of Volta Medical’s US activities.
This role reports to the US Business Operations Director (based in the US) and the Chief Clinical & Regulatory Affairs Officer (based in France).

- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Operations Coordinator or in a similar operational role.
- Early commercialisation / high-growth / scale-up experience
- Previous experience in the Medtech industry Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Copilot.
- Experience with inventory management software, ERP and/or CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a hybrid position based in Providence, Rhode Island, and open to candidates located in the greater Providence or Boston area, with the ability to work from the Providence office approximately 2 days per week.
