The Senior Omnichannel Solution Architect is responsible for designing scalable, business-driven solutions that enable Genentech’s omnichannel engagement and orchestration capabilities.
This role focuses on building and evolving an integrated ecosystem leveraging Adobe Experience Platform (RT-CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics), while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data strategy, privacy, and governance standards.

You will define architecture across customer data, identity, segmentation, personalization, web experiences, social engagement, orchestration, activation, and measurement capabilities.. Working closely with business, product, engineering, data, and vendor teams, you will drive architecture decisions that balance current delivery needs with long-term scalability and sustainability.
Job Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
Define end-to-end omnichannel architecture aligned with business and enterprise standards.
Establish customer data models, identity frameworks, integration patterns, and architecture best practices.
Define and manage non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, and compliance.
Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and technical debt.
Customer Data & Integration
Design integrations across CRM, MDM, consent platforms, web/mobile event data, social engagement platforms, analytics solutions, and enterprise systems.
Enable unified customer profiles, identity resolution, audience segmentation, and personalization.
Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, and consent compliance.
Adobe Experience Platform Leadership
Architect and guide implementation of Adobe RT-CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics.
Enable real-time segmentation, journey orchestration, web personalization, social activation, and multi-channel customer engagement.
Establish reusable audience and journey frameworks that can scale across markets.
Strategy & Leadership
Define and maintain the omnichannel architecture roadmap.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across product and delivery teams.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
Who you are:
Experience/Education
7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Marketing Technology, Digital Engagement, Omnichannel ecosystems, or similar experience.
Must have a bachelor's degree.
Experience designing customer data, identity, integration, and activation architectures across CRM, CDPs, and customer engagement platforms.
Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and omnichannel engagement platforms, preferably Adobe Experience Platform.
Experience designing integrations across CRM, MDM, consent, analytics, and activation platforms.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical domain is a plus
Skills
Proven Solution Architecture experience within Martech, Customer Data, or Omnichannel ecosystems.
Strong experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, customer profile architecture, digital engagement channels, web personalization, and customer activation ecosystems.
Experience with web analytics, web personalization, social engagement platforms, and digital activation channels is highly desirable
Experience integrating CRM, MDM, consent, analytics, and activation platforms.
Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, APIs, and cloud-based data platforms.
Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (RT-CDP, AJO, CJA) preferred
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and delivery execution skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and activation outcomes.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is between $142,200 - $264,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
