FT Live US is seeking a motivated and dedicated Marketing Executive to support the US Marketing Manager. This role operates at the front line of FT Live’s relationship with delegates and involves close collaboration with multiple Financial Times departments to implement impactful marketing campaigns.
You will be responsible for attracting high-quality attendees to flagship hybrid and virtual events, driving delegate revenue and registrations, and ensuring strong audience engagement.
While based in the US, you will be part of FT Live’s global marketing team, working closely with colleagues in London and Hong Kong.
Key responsibilitiesCampaign Planning & Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute effective 12-month marketing plans to ensure products reach target audiences at optimal times
- Develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns across websites, email, digital advertising, SEO, social media, traditional media, influencers, and PR
- Drive lead generation initiatives contributing a minimum of 20% of delegate revenue
- Brief, build, segment, and analyze data to attract new audiences
- Build and update event microsites using CMS tools
- Coordinate creative production including print, social assets, and digital ads
- Design and deploy engaging email campaigns aligned with event branding
- Develop briefs for videographers and photographers and oversee on-site execution (e.g., vox pops, wrap-up videos)
- Create and schedule real-time event communications, including email campaigns and app notifications
- Provide on-site support, including managing registration and attendee check-in
- Design and manage rebooking campaigns for future events
- Report weekly on audience engagement and booking trends
- Conduct year-over-year analysis across marketing channels
- Produce post-event reports including metrics, imagery, and video content
- Deliver detailed post-event analysis to inform future event strategy
- 1–2 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in events or a media organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with data segmentation and audience development strategies
- Understanding of SEO and strong copywriting skills
- High energy, proactive attitude, and goal-oriented approach h
- Strong analytical and time-management skills
- Demonstrated initiative in self-development and continuous learning

- Experience providing administrative support

Further informationThis position pays $25–30 per hour. To ensure pay fairness, the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated range based on considerations including skills, experience, training, certifications, and business needs. The disclosed range is for our NYC office and has not been adjusted for other locations.
