The Opportunity
TC Energy is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Houston to support our efforts in Energy Problem Solving and our daily operations. We are looking for motivated law students interested in gaining a broad range of experience supporting US Natural Gas Legal.

You’ll learn about the business and build your professional network by working closely with other skilled people at TC Energy. Every day will enhance your knowledge, skills and passion for what you do.
Minimum Qualifications
• Actively enrolled in an ABA-accredited Juris Doctorate degree program, with at least one year of law school completed and at least one semester remaining following your work term
• Possess strong advocacy skills, both oral and written
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to support diverse client groups and handle multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
• Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Exhibit a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
• Must exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives: safety, responsibility, integrity, innovation and collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
While not a prerequisite for consideration, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in energy law or related fields, such as (but not limited to) coursework related to energy law or policy, commercial law as relevant to the energy industry, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulatory law, or environmental law.
