Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.

The Role
Palantir is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to join our broader U.S. Government contracts and legal team, which is key to Palantir’s mission. We’re a team that values creativity and teamwork. Whether operating solo or collaboratively, our goal is to enable our U.S. Government agency customers and partners to unlock their data and power critical operations.
In this role, you’ll provide strategic support for business-to-business relationships throughout our supply chain, including negotiating and managing subcontracts, teaming agreements, and various supplier agreements. • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including teaming agreements, subcontracts, data sharing, and license agreements
  • Support pre-award and capture efforts as well as post-award subcontract negotiation and management; including but not limited to driving the RFP process, review supplier paperwork to negotiate terms, deliverables and ensure compliance with applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including attorneys, finance, information security, and technical teams to align contractual terms with risk postures and technical requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of subcontracting processes, templates, and playbooks
  • Negotiate terms of use for access to U.S. Government-furnished CUI and industry teammate portals

What We Value

  • Strong program / project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision or administrative support
  • Ability to implement legal team procedures, broader Palantir policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory and contract-specific certifications and requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Active clearance a plus but not required
  • JD preferred but not required

What We Require

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a Government contracts/subcontracts role.
  • Eligibility to access International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) materials.
  • Extensive experience with and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience with negotiating teaming agreements and prime contracts/subcontracts, and familiarity with administration for contracts ranging in size.
  • Experience at a U.S. Government contractor or a tech company doing significant work with the U.S. Government preferred.
