ALL.SPACE is building a dedicated Sales Engineering capability to support its U.S. Government business and this role is central to that effort. The Sales Engineer will provide hands-on technical support across the sales cycle for opportunities with the U.S. Department of Defense including the Navy, Army, Marine Corps and Space Force as well as with defense primes, systems integrators and channel partners supporting these customers.
Working alongside Sales and reporting into the Vice President, Sales Engineering, this person will translate customer and mission requirements into validated technical solutions, support demonstrations and trials, and own technical content for RFIs, RFPs and proposals. The role requires credibility with government and military stakeholders and comfort operating in defense procurement and program environments.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Solution Design & Sales Cycle Support
Partner with Sales throughout discovery, solution design and architecture for opportunities across the Navy, Army, Marine Corps, Space Force and supporting partners. Translate customer and mission requirements into technically sound, validated solutions, and pressure-test proposed configurations before they reach the customer.
2. RFIs, RFPs & Technical Proposals
Own or contribute to technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, compliance matrices and terminal integration questions for U.S. Government opportunities. Validate feasibility, interoperability and performance claims early to reduce risk and rework later in the sales cycle.
3. Customer Demonstrations & Trials
Support and help deliver customer demonstrations and field trials for government and military end users, ensuring they are technically sound, well-resourced and accurately represent ALL.SPACE capability.
4. Voice of the Customer into Product & Engineering
Feed customer and mission requirements from the DoD and partner community back into Product and Engineering, representing the field and government customer perspective in roadmap and prioritization discussions.
5. Fulfilment & Delivery Assurance
Ensure designs and configurations agreed with government customers are accurately and completely handed into the ALL.SPACE fulfilment process, partnering with Fulfilment and Operations to protect delivery accuracy and customer satisfaction post-sale.
6. Channel & Partner Enablement
Provide technical enablement and training to partners, primes and integrators supporting DoD opportunities, helping them qualify and support opportunities independently.
