Join our caring community at Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska! We are currently pursuing a motivated and passionate, full-time Urologist to join our Specialty Clinic Urology team. The SRMC Urology team has grown significantly, driven by the addition of advanced technological treatments and rising demand for high-quality urologic care.

Responsibilities:

· Patient Care: Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions.

· Clinical Services: Perform urological procedures and surgeries.

· Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals. Place order for tests for healthcare staff to administer.

· Patient Education: Educate patients on urological health, treatment options, and preventive care measures to promote long-term wellness.

· Record Keeping: Review and interpret test results. Create and recommend treatment plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health records (EHR) software.

· Community Engagement: Participate in community health initiatives and education, fostering relationships with local residents to enhance patient awareness and access to care.

· Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in urology, including new procedures, technologies, and treatment protocols.

· Rotational Call: Required.

· Potential to provide APP oversight and respond timely to their needs.

Education, Experience, & Licensure

· Board certified Urologist from an accredited medical school.

· Current, or must be able to obtain, M.D. licensure in the State of Nebraska.

· Certification in BLS and ACLS required; SRMC will help obtain.

· Current, or must be able to obtain, State and DEA Licenses.

Skills Required

  • Board certified Urologist
  • Graduated from an accredited medical school (MD)
  • Current, or able to obtain, M.D. licensure in the State of Nebraska
  • Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • Current, or able to obtain, State medical license and DEA license
