Upstream Product Manager – Ultrasound (Bothell, WA / Cambridge, MA)
You will help define the clinical roadmap for our ultrasound portfolio, turning customer insights and clinical needs into clear product direction. Working closely with cross‑functional partners, you will drive early‑stage strategy, ensure smooth launch execution, and support ongoing product performance in the field.
Your role:
Shape clinically meaningful product roadmaps by partnering closely with Clinical and Research & Development teams, representing the commercial perspective to ensure product plans align with market needs and overall portfolio strategy.
Influence release planning and portfolio availability by integrating commercial insights, customer requirements, and operational considerations into early product decisions to maximize return on investment.
Perform market and business analysis—reviewing market reports, tender information, order intake data, and competitive intelligence—to identify trends and guide strategic recommendations.
Collaborate with global commercial teams to surface themes from customer feedback, win/loss analyses, and field performance, translating these into actionable inputs for the product innovations and portfolio roadmap.
Connect upstream strategy with downstream execution by ensuring product concepts are grounded in customer value, scalable across the portfolio, and positioned to achieve strong market adoption and sustained commercial success.
You're the right fit if:
You have strong product management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate clinical and user needs and trends into clear upstream requirements and work closely with Clinical and R&D teams to validate concepts and ensure roadmap feasibility.
You have a Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred) and 3+ years upstream product management experience — medical device experience strongly preferred.
You have strong analytical skills, and enjoy number crunching for financial business cases or things like pricing and order intake analysis.
You possess experience in bringing products to market, preferably within MedTech, with a demonstrated ability to develop promotion strategies, create claims, and understand the priorities of the healthcare audience.
You are an effective communicator and collaborator who influences stakeholders across functions and geographies, with the ability to synthesize clinical insights, customer feedback, and technical constraints into actionable roadmap guidance—experience with informatics/PACS or complex integrations is a plus.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office-based role.
