Upholsterer - AIDA Cruises

Carry out repair and maintenance of upholstery in cabins, public areas, and lounges, including large-scale upholstery covering of sofas, chairs, stools, and seating areas when required

Perform correct application and use of wallpapers

Install and maintain carpets and linoleum flooring

Support knowledge transfer on best practices for upholstery maintenance

Report missing spare parts, verify correct deliveries, and coordinate material requests with the Superior and Storekeeper Facility

Provide support to the Deck team in emergency situations when required

Support the Furniture & Interior Officer team under the direction of the Facility Manager and Furniture and Interior Officer

Support an effective and sustainable health and safety culture onboard

Strictly follow HESS regulations and all health and safety protocols in force to prevent the spread of diseases

Report any observed violations of company health procedures to the Head of Department

Comply with all security, safety, cleanliness, and hygiene requirements

Maintain hygiene standards in accordance with VSP, USPH, and HACCP regulations within the area of responsibility, including proper waste management

Experience in upholstery or a similar skilled craft requiring professional craftsmanship

Experience in different types of timber work

Experience in saddler work is desirable

Knowledge of upholstery techniques and ability to use relevant tools to perform required duties

Structured and organized approach to workload management

Ability to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace
