Job Purpose/Overview
The job role is responsible for planning and manage UPC Logistic operation at Wotu, Luwu Timur, in line with Mars standard. This position is responsible for plan and manage delivery of wet and dry bean, consumable inventory, manpower allocation, and improvement to optimize operational cost and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & inventory management:- Planning wet bean transporters (budget, route, volume) for delivery from CP to UPC sites
- Monitor and create report of delivery performance of dry/wet bean
- Monitor and manage UPC's stock consumables
- Control wet/dry bean freight cost operation
- Monitoring bean weight loss from CP/suppliers, and in the UPC sites
- Manage allocation of quality team based on volume on sourcing areas
- Manage data accuracy in Dynamic 365 and Cocoa Trace
- Align with S&F for invoicing and periodic budget allocation Freight management
- Align with transporters for planning of wet/dry bean delivery
- Manage the delivery of diesel fuel and palm shells from suppliers to the Site (align with production and commercial)
- Ensure the quality of transporter units and storage area meet Mars standard - Distribution Quality Management (DQM)Analysis
- Develop requirement and standard of logistic operation in UPC
- Discover most cost-effective of bean delivery model
- Analyse SUSO's sourcing forecast to be in line with logistic operational planning and cost
- Evaluate transporters performance
- Collaborate with IT to develop opportunity to digitalize the operation Others
- Lead/support various UPC projects that related with UPC Logistic
- Interact with other departments (SUSO, production & R&D), in resolving issues which have impact to logistic operation at CPs and UPC sites
