Job Description:

Job Type: Part-Time Permanent

Work Location: 6500 Silver Dart Drive, Mississauga, ON

Workdays: Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days, days are flexible based on operational needs)

Shift Hours: 7:30 PM to 10:45 PM * (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs) *

Hourly Wage: $17.75

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
• Full availability to work Monday through Friday (all five days of the week)
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• $17.75 hourly wage
• Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility, program approval, and satisfactory academic performance)

• Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit- Every Friday

EXPENSES/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Monthly union dues (approximately $52/month)
• A union initiation fee of $50 (will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS)
• Exposed to changing temperatures while working in a warehouse environment
