We are seeking a skilled Unix Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to manage, maintain, and optimize Unix/Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and supporting enterprise applications in Unix-based servers.
Job DescriptionInstall, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers and related applications
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups
Collaborate with application teams to support deployment and performance tuning
Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery procedures are in place
Automate routine tasks using scripting (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.)
Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
3-5 years of Unix/Linux system administration experience
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands
Experience with Shell scripting or other automation tools
Knowledge of system monitoring, backup, and recovery processes
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and team collaboration skills
Experience with cloud-based Unix environments (AWS, Azure)
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Exposure to database or middleware administration
Experience with DevOps practices

Skills Required
