Universal Music Group 2025 Summer Internship Program: Brand & Label Opportunities: (Onsite: CA)

Program Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree
- Graduating between Spring 2025 - Fall 2027
- Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing accommodations)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.)
- Commit to 20 - 40 hours per week (based on individual business area)

UMe: Urban Catalog (Onsite: CA)
The UMe Urban team serve as the custodian of the legacies of legends such as 2Pac, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Rihanna, Erykah Badu and so many more. We maintain these legacies through marketing campaigns and vinyl reissues.
How You'll Create:
The intern will support the various departments of the Urban Catalog team. These include A&R, Marketing, Audience Growth, and Commerce. This person will get first hand experience on what it takes put out a vinyl reissue from conception.

Interscope: Urban A&R (Onsite: CA)
The Urban A&R intern will be assisting A&Rs, A&R Coordinators and A&R Research team in various daily tasks from updating charts to composing beatpacks.
How You'll Create:
-Updating various charts: recording studios, mixing/mastering engineer, beat submissions, new artist submissions, producers etc.
-Helping coordinators with checking studio availability, getting rates from BCD travel and receipts from restaurants etc.
-Listening to beats, organizing into folders and updating the beatpack submissions chart.
-Finding new artists, creating a chart and updating with growth in listeners, followers, new releases etc.

Virgin Music Group: Physical / Catalog (Onsite: CA)
We have a very active physical department and roster - they will work alongside the global physical team (catalog and new) learning the ins and outs of the physical business, the holes we need filled and the potential progress we can make with new processes implemented. They will also work alongside the head of global catalog who will be looking to launch a new approach to the digital catalog strategy in the coming months.
How You'll Create:
Work with the physical team to alleviate some of the workload that needs more attention and organization. Participate in team meetings and planning. Keeping on task for certain physical releases to supplement the rollout plans. Work alongside the team to set goals and objectives for certain projects. Collaborate on potential catalog focuses for 2025 doing data (streaming and revenue) deep dives.

UMLE: Commercial Partnerships/Fonovisa (Onsite: CA)
Responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic collaborations with DSPs to achieve mutual commercial benefits. Essentially acting as a bridge between the company and its external partners to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
How You'll Create:
-Maintaining our release schedule
-Creation and implementation of catalog strategies
-Inputting release info on various pitching tools
-Content creation ideas
-Search of new trends
-Tracking process of priority releases

-Ability to adjust to changes in the workplace
