Job Summary: The Production Jr. Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of analysts and technicians to ensure that production standards are consistently met. This role involves coordinating daily production activities, conducting audits and inspections, and providing guidance and support to team members. The Jr. Supervisor works closely with the Production Supervisor and other department leaders to develop and implement production improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, addressing nonconformance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: • Monitor and track inventory levels • Order supplies and materials as needed • Implement systems to optimize inventory management • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies • Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of materials Safety and Compliance: • Enforce safety protocols and procedures • Conduct regular safety training for production team members • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines • Conduct safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records. Team Mentorship: • Empowerment: Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and skill development. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to align processes and achieve goals. High Impact Behaviors: • Leadership by Example: Supervisors should model the behavior they expect from their team.
